Technical Proposal Writer (RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs)

Were seeking a Technical Proposal Writer to lead the creation of compelling, compliant, and client-centric responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs across public and private sector opportunities. Youll collaborate with solution architects, technical SMEs, and delivery leaders to articulate complex IT solutions in a clear and persuasive format.
This role is critical in driving strategic deals and must combine deep technical understanding with exceptional writing skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProposal Development & ManagementAnalyze and interpret RFP/RFI/RFQ requirements and client needs.Own end-to-end proposal lifecycle: content planning, authoring, editing, and submission.Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines, deadlines, and formatting standards.Coordinate with internal stakeholders for review and feedback incorporation.Content Creation & CollaborationWork closely with technical teams to translate complex concepts into clear, persuasive content.Write executive summaries, case studies, technical narratives, and win themes.Maintain reusable content libraries, boilerplates, and proposal templates.Quality & ComplianceEnsure brand consistency and professional tone in all documents.Follow government (FAR/SOW/GSA) and APMP best practices.Manage multiple high-stakes proposals under tight deadlines with precision.Required Qualifications7+ years of experience in technical/proposal writing within IT services, consulting, or digital transformation.Proven record of winning mid to large RFP/RFI responses for US clients.Strong technical understanding in:Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Application DevelopmentData Analytics, AI/ML, CybersecurityExcellent written communication, editing, and storytelling skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and content management platforms.Knowledge of APMP standards and government procurement practices.Industry familiarity: Government, BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, Hi-Tech.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's in English, Communications, Engineering, or related field.APMP Certification (Foundation or higher) preferred.Experience in a global IT services environment is a plus.
