Job Summary:

Service Delivery Head

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Delivery Management:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of software development and support services across all internal projects and client accounts.
• Manage cross-functional delivery teams including developers, QA engineers, support staff, and project managers.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal stake holders and key clients on delivery-related matters.

• People & Performance Management:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate delivery teams to foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence.
• Set team goals, conduct performance reviews, and implement training programs.
• Allocate resources effectively to balance workload and project priorities.
• Identify and close skill gaps through training and talent development.

• Operational Efficiency:

• Optimize processes to reduce costs and improve delivery timelines and quality.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks in service delivery and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee sprint planning, technical estimates, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Technical Oversight:

• Lead the architecture, design, and technical execution of multiple projects across technologies.
• Review and validate system designs, code quality, and scalability of solutions.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices (DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, etc.).

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery or IT services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in managing multi-project environments, especially in agile or hybrid models.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, ITIL practices, DevOps, and cloud-based solutions.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and deliver complex technology solutions.
• Certifications in PMP, ITIL, Agile/Scrum, or DevOps.
