Location: Kolkata, India Experience Required: 15+ yearsIndustry: Manufacturing / Industrial Automation / Digital TransformationJob Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Program Manager to lead digital transformation and technology initiatives for our India-based manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing large-scale enterprise programs, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), cloud modernization, and automation-driven projects aligned with Industry 4.0 standards. This role will require hands-on leadership, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end delivery management across IT and OT environments.

Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage cross-functional IT transformation programs focused on manufacturing excellence, automation, and ERP modernization.Drive planning, execution, and governance of technology programs, ensuring delivery against defined scope, time, and cost.Collaborate closely with operations, supply chain, production, and IT teams to ensure digital initiatives align with business outcomes.Oversee migration of legacy systems to scalable cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and integrate IoT, MES, or shop-floor systems.Define program governance models, risk management strategies, and cross-functional coordination frameworks.Use Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools like JIRA, MS Project, and Azure Boards for tracking and reporting.Lead vendor management and ensure compliance with internal IT security and audit policies.Build roadmaps for plant-level digital enablement including predictive maintenance, digital twin, and smart warehousing.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT; MBA or Master's degree preferred.Minimum 15 years of experience in IT project/program management, with at least 5 years in the manufacturing domain.Professional certifications in program/project management (Prince2, PMP, Agile) preferred.

Preferred Skills & Experience:Experience in deploying or upgrading ERP systems like SAP (HCM, ICM, BPC).Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES), SCADA, and other OT systems.Hands-on exposure to cloud-based solutions and microservices architecture.Proven experience managing programs in factory/plant environments.Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.
