Technical Product Owner

Job Description

The Technical Product Owner will work closely with a Forge product team, acting as the Scrum Product Owner. This individual will collaborate with Product Managers and users to define and prioritize software requirements while leading the execution of technology projects. The role requires a strong focus on maintaining and developing a pipeline of new features and enhancements, as well as leading acceptance testing activities to ensure the successful delivery of quality deliverables. Mandatory Requirements: 5+ years of work experience in a Technical Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Product Manager role. Experience in finance, banking, capital markets, or other enterprise applications within the financial services industry. Hands-on technology project execution experience, specifically in the development of software as a service (SaaS) products. Proven experience with Agile SDLC and quality assurance concepts, practices, and procedures. Clear understanding of system integrations and API concepts. Strong ability to analyze complex situations and propose effective solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Undergraduate degree in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or finance. Nice to Have: Capital markets and market data experience, including reference security master and real-time data. Familiarity with multiple securities asset classes. Data analysis and reporting experience, with a working knowledge of SQL. Experience with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI. Experience working in growth-stage startups and with distributed remote global teams. Responsibilities: Act as the Scrum Product Owner, prioritizing and defining software requirements in collaboration with the team. Lead technology projects, supporting internal and external users while adapting to evolving business needs. Maintain and develop a pipeline of new features and enhancements. Lead acceptance testing activities to ensure quality deliverables. Communicate effectively in writing to analyze product requirements and scope technology solutions.
