Technical Manager

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 812 years of experience in Electrical EPC projects (Substations, Transmission, Distribution, Industrial & Commercial Electrical Projects) or Minimum 35 years in a managerial/leadership role.

Skill Set: Strong technical knowledge of EPC project execution (Design, Estimation, Tendering, and Site Execution).

Hands-on experience in Electrical systems: HT/LT panels, Substations, Transmission Lines, Industrial Electrification, and Project Commissioning also Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Project Management tools. Strong leadership, team management, and client coordination skills have Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety compliance (IE Rules, IS/IEC standards, etc.). Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

Job Description:

Lead and manage technical teams for design, engineering, and execution of EPC electrical projects

Review and approve technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications

Provide technical support during tendering, estimation, and proposal preparation

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure technical compliance and project deliverables

Monitor project execution to ensure quality, timelines, and cost control

Ensure adherence to safety, statutory norms, and industry standards

Guide project engineers, supervisors, and site teams for efficient execution

Conduct regular site visits for technical reviews, inspections, and troubleshooting

Identify risks and provide mitigation plans for smooth project delivery

Support management in strategic planning, resource allocation, and business growth initiatives

Create comprehensive system designs including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and earthing design and calculations, cable schedule preparation.

Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, load calculations, and component layouts.

Use modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) for accurate drawing and simulation as required.

Prepare and maintain thorough documentation-design specs, technical notes, BOMs, technical comparisons between different makes.

Support commissioning and handover processes, including as-built documentation.

Research new technologies, standards, and design practices.
