Technical Manager Lab

As a Technical Manager LAB, you will be responsible for the laboratory's technical requirements, activities, and implementation under the guidance of the Quality Manager. Your key responsibilities will include: - Selection, verification, approval, and commissioning of test methods. - Allotment of samples to Chemists for analysis. - Management of smooth working of equipment and facilities, ensuring availability of laboratory consumables, proper calibration of instruments, and maintenance of environmental conditions. - Design and implementation of the QC programme to assure quality results through various checks and comparison with proficiency testing and inter-intra laboratory programs. - Examination of external and internal audit reports, addressing non-conformances, and taking action on reported deficiencies. - Management and training of staff, providing guidance in technical matters, and ensuring matters of impartiality and confidentiality. - Operation and maintenance of sophisticated instruments, method verification, validation, uncertainty calculation, and test result evaluation. - Correlation of results for different characteristics of items. - Liaison with the Quality Manager on quality matters affecting testing and with Customer Executives on technical issues and reporting. - Continuous improvement in technical operations and handling activities in the absence of the Quality Manager.
