Job Description

The Technical Manager is responsible for the management of all technical activities defined in customer contracts in terms of quality, risk, and time from delivery approach preparation through deployment, customer acceptance, and care phase. You will act as the primary technical interface and the first technical escalation point within the customer project. In this role, you will be the technical contact and reference person for medium and big-sized projects. You will work closely with project management and technical staff to ensure the successful execution of all technical management activities defined in customer contracts with large business volume and medium/high complexity and risk probability. You will lead Technical Managers in respective Market/Region/BG and participate in Technical Management practice development. Key Skills and Experience: - Act as the primary technical interface and the first technical escalation point within the Customer project. - Ensure operational continuity and smooth execution by implementing proactive BG/BL guidelines and PM@Nokia Methodology. - Support Project Execution Owner (PEO) in project planning and delivery acceptance. - Lead technical activities during execution and care phase, such as Core Network Implementation, System Acceptance, Multi-Vendor Interface Verification, etc. - Perform a Technical Risk Analysis and propose/implement risk mitigation actions. - Support Project Execution Owner (PEO) to ensure successful delivery handover to regular operations. - Identify new technical management-related opportunities to expand contracts with the customer. It would be beneficial if you also had experience in: - Ensuring network availability with Care project team. - Supporting Solution Managers to review adopted solutions and assumptions.
