Technical Lead Power Electronics Test Engineering - Solar Inverters/UP

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Experienced Electronics Engineer to join our Inverter Test Team to work on the latest edge of technology inverters for Solar Applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Power Electronics engineering, with significant experience in inverter testing. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of inverters for our cutting-edge Solar Inverters technology.

• Develop a reasonable test plan according to project requirements and resources and ensure the smooth implementation of the test plan.
• Conduct electrical functional and reliability tests on the inverter products. Prepare and present detailed reports on test findings and recommendations
• Provide technical support for the maintenance of old products, guarantee the solution of key problems, perform failure analysis on faulty products, summarize the reasons for failure, and provide product development and improvement suggestions.
• The establishment and optimization of test cases and specifications, the organization and establishment of test experience cases, and the formation of shared knowledge documents.
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, power analysers and other test equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential reliability issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Junior Engineers and Technicians
• Prepare and present detailed reports on test findings and recommendations

Education Qualifications and job requirements:

• B.E. in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in inverter testing. Proficient in analog power, digital power, loop stability principles, power electronics theory and switching power supply knowledge, familiar with AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC related circuit topologies, and have certain circuit analysis capabilities.
• More than 3 years of UPS, switching power supply, inverter and other product development or R&D testing experience.
• Inverter product certification testing experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics and semiconductor components, particularly MOSFETs and IGBTs.
• Strong hands-on ability, logical thinking ability, test data analysis ability and good communication skills.
• Proven experience in the design and testing of inverter circuits
• Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, Power Analysers and other test equipments.
• Familiarity with electronic design software such as Altium, LTspice, etc and power electronics design concepts.
• Familiarity with reliability testing methodologies and standards
