Technical Lead - MS SQL / MySQL

As a Technical Lead in MS SQL at our SaaS product-based company, you will be responsible for leading a team of database developers to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of database systems supporting our SaaS products. Your main responsibilities will include: - **Team Leadership and Management:** - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of database developers to uphold high work standards and promote a collaborative team environment. - Provide technical guidance and direction in database design, development, and optimization. - Conduct regular code and performance reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. - **Database Design and Development:** - Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions for SaaS applications. - Collaborate with software developers and architects to align database designs with application requirements and performance goals. - Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, views, triggers, and indexes for data integrity and optimal performance. - **Performance Tuning and Optimization:** - Analyze and optimize database performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies. - Implement and maintain indexing strategies, query optimization, and database configuration for optimal performance and scalability. - Monitor and manage database performance to ensure high availability and minimal downtime. - **SaaS Integration and Data Management:** - Work closely with the SaaS platform team to integrate database systems with cloud-based applications seamlessly. - Develop and maintain data migration strategies, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions in a SaaS environment. - Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested. - **Project Management and Delivery:** - Oversee the database development lifecycle from requirement analysis to deployment for timely and high-quality delivery of database solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align database initiatives with business objectives. - Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication for successful project outcomes. - **Continuous Improvement and Innovation:** - Stay updated with the latest advancements in MS SQL, database technologies, and SaaS trends. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance database performance and development efficiency. - Foster a culture of innovation and learning within the team for professional growth and technical excellence. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in MS SQL database development and management, with at least 2 years in a team lead or similar role. - Experience working in a SaaS environment is highly desirable. - Certification in MS SQL Server or related database technologies is a plus.,
