Technical Lead

Maintenance and development of highly business critical applications in the Media Broadcast domain developed in Visual C++ MFC (80%) and .net C# and with SQL server as the database.

Develop and maintain highly complex business applications demonstrating high ownership with good code quality and adhering to established coding standards and clean code policies.
Provide Impact Analysis for Change Requests, Root cause analysis for customer defects and resolve performance issues. Monitor static code analysis (CAST/SonarQube) reports, ensure technical debt is contained with the permitted limits. Identify and implement AI engineering use cases to improve productivity and code quality. Review Code and and other delivery artifacts with high quality. Self motivated, good problem solver and a team player, capable of providing solutions with a quick turn around time. Mentor and guide junior developers and provide timely feedback. Play a wider role in the team by providing technical solutions, Participate in discussions, Contribute to technical decisions for Product modernization, Tooling and Non-functional requirements. Collaborate with other cross functional teams. Build and maintain excellent rapport with peers, Partner BU counterparts and Customers C++ Fundamentals - Strong understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), templates, STL (Standard Template Library), and modern C++ concepts. Memory Management - Knowledge of pointers, dynamic allocation, smart pointers, and memory optimization techniques. Multithreading & Concurrency - Experience with Windows threads, synchronization mechanisms and parallel processing. MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) - Proficiency in developing windows-based applications using MFC. Win32 API - Understanding of Windows system programming, event handling, and message loops COM/DCOM (Component Object Model) - Basic knowledge of COM programming for creating reusable components. Visual Studio IDE - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, debugging tools, and performance analysis. Profiling & Debugging - Expertise in tools like Visual Studio Debugger, and memory leak detection.
