Technical Executive

Job Summary:

The Technical Executive Facility Management is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of all technical systems and infrastructure within the facility. This includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building management systems (BMS), ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily operations and maintenance of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
  
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.
  
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for technical support and AMC services.
  
• Monitor BMS (Building Management System), HVAC, DG sets, UPS, lifts, and other critical equipment.
  
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring minimum downtime.
  
• Maintain documentation of equipment maintenance, calibration, permits, and audits.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, energy efficiency, and environmental standards.
  
• Support energy audits and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Facilities Manager.
  
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure all systems are functioning optimally.
  
• Ensure statutory compliance for fire safety systems and other critical infrastructure.
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, and BMS.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  
• Good communication and team management skills.
  
• Computer literacy – MS Office, Excel, maintenance software (like CAFM/CMMS tools).
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field.
  
• 3–5 years of experience in facility management or technical maintenance roles.
  
• Experience with commercial buildings, industrial facilities, or hospital infrastructure is a plus.
  
• Certification in fire safety, HVAC, or energy management is desirable.
