Job Description

As a Technical Engineer (NOC Support) in Bengaluru, India, you will be responsible for the following: - Handling Level 1 analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution - Managing product queries effectively - Operating and maintaining systems, platforms, and interconnects, including daily checklists and troubleshooting for network elements like app servers, signaling interfaces, database servers, storage arrays, Oracle, Sun, HP, and other hardware - Managing all communication related to assigned customer accounts - Coordinating internally and with outsourced partners, service providers, and onsite teams - Maintaining up-to-date contact information, supported product lists, technical information, troubleshooting information, fault handling information, and other general-use information - Interfacing with customers for all Customer Service Requests (CSRs), both internal and external - Handling CSRs on a 24/7 service level and working in any shift - Implementing workarounds to minimize customer downtime and ensuring permanent solutions are in place - Participating or organizing Technical Call Bridges to address technical diagnostics with customers and partners - Maintaining connectivity and account details from a support perspective to provide efficient support - Ensuring SLAs exceed customer contract requirements Qualifications required for this role include: - B.E. / B.Tech., M.E./M. Tech., or M. Sc. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or MCA Skill Sets: - Experience in Network Operations and troubleshooting customer issues related to wireless technologies - Strong Knowledge of GSM, SS7, SCCP, and Core Network - Operating Systems: Unix, Solaris - Excellent troubleshooting skills - Strong computer skills, specifically in HP Unix or Sun Solaris and Windows environments - Ability to work in a team environment serving multiple global customers - Strong English communication skills and a sense of urgency In addition to the qualifications and responsibilities outlined above, you are required to have 3 years of experience working as part of a 24X7 NOC team and a minimum of 2 years of related experience in a mobile telecom network operations environment.,
