Technical Development Manager

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT projects and programs from initiation through to successful delivery, ensuring that scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Drive project planning, execution, risk management, and change management activities effectively.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define requirements, priorities, and deliverables.
• Oversee delivery governance including status reporting, project metrics, and stakeholder communications.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party delivery partners.
• Ensure strict adherence to project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in managing complex IT projects and delivery programs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in vendor and third-party partner management.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (Agile Scrum Master) preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
