Technical Design Engineer

As a Technical Design Engineer (Technical Executive) at SEPL Cables (Suyog Electricals Limited), your role will involve supporting the design, development, and documentation of electrical cables. You should have a strong foundation in cable construction, technical drawings, and standards compliance to excel in this position. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing technical designs and construction sheets for power, control, instrumentation, and specialty cables. - Drafting and maintaining product datasheets, General Technical Particulars (GTPs), Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), and other engineering documents. - Providing technical inputs, compliance statements, and product selections to the sales and tendering teams. - Ensuring alignment of all technical documentation with relevant IS, IEC, BS, and other international standards. - Supporting the QA and production departments with design-related clarifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) inputs. - Handling customer or consultant queries regarding technical specifications and standards compliance. - Maintaining a central repository of design templates, approvals, and version-controlled documents. - Assisting in the preparation of custom drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout sketches when necessary.
