You will be joining SEPL Cables (Suyog Electricals Limited) as a technical design engineer (technical executive) where your main responsibility will be to support the design, development, and documentation of electrical cables. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong foundation in cable construction, technical drawings, and standards compliance. Your tasks will include preparing technical designs, construction sheets, product datasheets, GTPs, QAPs, and other engineering documents based on client or tender requirements. Your key responsibilities will involve preparing technical designs and construction sheets for power, control, instrumentation, and specialty cables. You will also be responsible for drafting and maintaining product datasheets, GTPs, QAPs, and other engineering documents. Additionally, you will assist the sales and tendering teams by providing technical inputs, compliance statements, and product selections. It will be crucial to ensure that all technical documentation aligns with relevant IS, IEC, BS, and other international standards. Furthermore, you will support the QA and production departments with design-related clarifications and BOM inputs. Handling customer or consultant queries related to technical specifications and standards compliance will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to maintain a central repository of design templates, approvals, and version-controlled documents. Additionally, you may need to assist in the preparation of custom drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout sketches as needed.
