Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily facility operations (housekeeping, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Monitor preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
  • Raise work orders/service requests and ensure timely closure
  • Conduct routine inspections of office floors, washrooms, and technical areas
  • Supervise technicians, facility staff, and vendor teams
  • Ensure vendors follow SOPs, safety norms, and SLA requirements
  • Maintain attendance, shift schedules, and manpower allocation
  • Check cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and overall facility readiness
  • Track AMC schedules for all equipment
  • Maintain asset registers, inventory records, tools, and consumables
  • Prepare daily reports (DPR), checklists, and maintenance logs
  • Support fire safety checks, evacuation drills, and compliance requirements
  • Report hazards, follow safety procedures, and ensure corrective actions
  • Coordinate with management for material purchase and approvals
  • Track EB and DG consumption for weekly and monthly reporting
  • Coordinate work permit system with builder/landlord team
  • Report all operational updates and escalations to the Account Manager
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in facility operations
  • Monitor energy and water consumption; implement sustainability measures
  • Ensure waste management and compliance with environmental norms
  • Assist in audits and maintain statutory compliance documentation
  • Conduct training for facility staff and vendors on SOPs and safety
  • Support implementation of CAFM/BMS systems for facility monitoring
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations and technical services
  • Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems
  • Vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules
  • Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software (CAFM/BMS)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of safety norms and statutory compliance
Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance
  • Knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and compliance requirements
