Description
Responsibilities: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Research, gather, and organize technical information from various sources, including subject matter experts, product specifications, and hands-on experimentation Create and maintain high-quality written documentation from relevant stakeholders (Technical support team and Product owners) Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Technical support team and Product owners, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation Develop and maintain a consistent tone, style, and voice across all documentation, adhering to established writing standards and guidelines Edit and proofread documentation for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and adherence to AfterShip standards Manage document lifecycle, including version control, updates, and archiving of obsolete content Translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly content that is easy to understand and follow Determine the best delivery method and create multimedia content, such as instructional videos, diagrams, and interactive tutorials, to supplement written documentation (e.g., videos, flow charts, infographics) Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve documentation quality and effectiveness Provide training and guidance to internal teams on using and interpreting technical documentation effectively Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to comprehend complex technical concepts Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Notion, Freshdesk, JIRA, etc) is a plus A portfolio of previous writing samples and documentation projects is highly desirable Sanchi- 8168584892
