Technical Content Writer

As a Technical Writer at our company, you will be responsible for writing content for our software solutions and technical aspects. Your role will involve closely understanding the processes in our software and transforming them into helpful help desk articles for our customers. You should have skills in writing procedural documents and other types of help desk-related articles. As a skilled wordsmith, you will develop product manuals, how-to guides, website help sections, journal articles, and other content that distills technical information with ease and clarity. Key Responsibilities: - Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, collaborating with various departments to understand software functionalities. - Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write help desk articles, procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation. - Work with development and support leads to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit content, and determine the best solution for structurally organizing it. - Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that uphold organizational legal standards and allow for easy information sharing. - Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, maintaining a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation. - Create product documentation and tutorial videos content. - Understand the software flow to identify and design articles to support clients, improve client training experience, and reduce training time. - Research industry practices to efficiently perform tasks. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree. - 2 years of industry experience as an effective technical writer or help desk articles. - Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics. - Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences. - Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. - Good command of English and the local language, both oral and written. - Good knowledge of computers. - Good interpersonal communication skills. - Good time management skills.
