Technical Content Writer - Product company

Role Overview

• The

  Technical Writer

  is responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving all forms of product documentation and knowledge content.
• The role ensures that

  complex technical concepts

  are clearly communicated to end users, partners, and internal teams through

  accurate, accessible, and user-friendly content

  .
• This includes

  release notes, user manuals, API guides, help center articles, training content, and internal process documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Documentation & Content Creation

• Write clear, concise, and structured documentation for SaaS products, including:
  
• User guides, onboarding manuals, and admin documentation.
• API and developer integration guides (REST/JSON/GraphQL).
• Release notes and changelogs.
• Knowledge base and help center articles.
• Ensure documentation reflects the most recent product functionality and UI changes.

• Release Cycle Coordination

• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, and Engineering to gather details for each release.
• Draft, review, and publish release notes and version updates.
• Maintain version control and historical documentation for product releases.

• Knowledge Base Management

• Manage the structure, taxonomy, and tagging of articles for ease of navigation.
• Continuously update and optimize help content for clarity and SEO.

• Internal Enablement

• Prepare internal documentation for Sales, Support, and Implementation teams.
• Support the creation of training content, SOPs, and internal FAQs.

• Quality & Consistency

• Define and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and templates.
• Review content created by other teams for consistency and compliance with brand tone.
