Technical Content Writer

Role Overview:
A Junior Technical Content Writer is responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging technical documentation and content that helps users understand and use products or services effectively. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with limited professional experience who have strong writing skills and an interest in technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, outline, write, and edit technical content such as user guides, how-to articles, FAQs, and product documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
• Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content for non-technical and technical audiences.
• Update and maintain existing documentation based on product updates and user feedback.
• Follow company style guides and documentation standards to ensure consistency and quality.
• Assist in creating visuals, diagrams, and other supporting materials as needed.
• Proofread and revise content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and grammatical correctness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand new technical concepts and products.
• Basic understanding of technology, software, or engineering concepts.
• Strong research and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred (but not mandatory):

• Internship or academic experience in technical writing, content creation, or related areas.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles and practices.
• Experience with graphic tools for creating diagrams or visuals.
