Technical Consultant

As a Technical Consultant at Workday, your primary role will be to work closely with customers" project teams in designing, developing, and deploying solutions for data conversion, functional, reporting, and analytics within our cloud-based Human Resources, Financial Management, and Student Information Systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Having complete project lifecycle experience in a data conversion role - Directly connecting with customers and project team specialists to design and execute strategic data conversion data loads - Providing consultancy on extraction, transformation, and loading of legacy data via integration products, tools, and services - Ensuring successful deployment of customers" data into the Workday tenant To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - 3+ years of data conversion technical experience for enterprise software applications - Workday Experience preferred - Hands-on SQL skills - Functional experience in HCM or Financials or Student modules - Financial systems domain experience is preferred Other Qualifications: - Self-motivated professional with strong follow-through - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and manage multiple high priority activities concurrently - Hands-on experience with ETL software, Microsoft Excel - Familiarity with web services and willingness to learn more - Passion for data accuracy and completeness - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Outstanding research skills and resourcefulness - Strong planning, scheduling, and organization skills - Collaborative teammate with effective communication skills Additionally, Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer that considers individuals with disabilities and protected veterans for employment.
