Technical Consultant - Oracle / Informatica

As a Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience in Oracle or Informatica, your role will involve understanding complex technical and architectural issues, interacting with all levels of the technical and business community, and seeking approval from all stakeholders of the projects. Key responsibilities expected from you include: - Developing architecture design principles for a line of business and the technical platform - Reviewing and shaping up technical solution/architecture plans - Providing advice on technical design and solution options based on business processes - Defining governing principles for translating business requirements into technical solutions - Making suggestions for practical and feasible trade-offs in the overall design - Engaging with 3rd party vendors and participating in product evaluations - Undertaking application design and review activities on multiple development projects - Driving process improvements and providing input on security design, performance tuning, and best practices - Maintaining control over technical documentation and mentoring team members - Participating in technical forums and driving the latest technical developments Qualifications required: - B.E./B.Tech. Or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University - At least 10 yrs of relevant industry experience - Technical leadership in Informatica, Oracle, Unix Scripting, Perl, and scheduling tools - Strong knowledge of Database Design, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Enterprise reporting, and ODS concepts - Very strong Oracle PLSQL/T-SQL experience - Experience in complete project lifecycle execution and exposure to Agile methodology - Ability to guide/mentor juniors and strong communication skills In addition to the technical skills, you are expected to possess personal characteristics such as enthusiasm for agile development, innovative problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a matrix-based organization, and motivation to learn and develop proficiency.
