Responsibilities Lead the development of interactive, high-performance dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Web Focus. Build and maintain data models, apply advanced DAX or Tableau expressions, and ensure scalability via query folding and performance tuning. Design robust ETL/ELT pipelines, manage data warehousing, including dimensional modelling, with strong SQL proficiency. ETL tools may include SQL or Python scripts. Integrate BI systems with backend platforms: Snowflake, cloud storages, Oracle, REST APIs. Work with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into KPIs, metrics, and visual insights, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Mentor and lead junior BI or analytics team members in development, dashboards, and tool usage. Stay abreast of BI and analytics trends, suggesting enhancements and adopting new tools and methodologies. Required Skills & Qualifications 510 years of experience in BI, analytics delivery, and team leadership. Expert in BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau, and WEB Focus. Strong SQL, Python scripting for dashboard automation and ETL. Deep understanding of data modelling, reporting architectures, data integration, and visualization best practices. Experience with cloud data environments (Snowflake, AWS) and handling large datasets. Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with ability to present technical insights to non-technical audiences. The Software Engineer Senior is a medium level to advanced level software developer with the ability to lead a team of up to 4 giving work assignments while meeting delivery dates and quality to meet budgets, milestones and deadlines for assigned projects. All of the primary responsibilities and skills are assumed. The person in this position is expected to attain mastery of RSMs SDLC and knowing which SDLC activities and deliverables are required, scaling them to each project. They can resolve moderate to difficult problems, lead the resolution of those problems, while demonstrating expertise in a variety of technical concepts, practices, and procedures. The Software Engineer Senior is able to work independently while making sound decisions that move projects forward effectively. The Software Engineer Senior ensures team members are coached through their assignments and show growth at the end of each project. This role also arranges mentoring by other team members while taking ownership of skill growth of their project team and other projects. This role is expected to escalate issues to Director/Manager App Dev in a timely manner in order to prevent project delays and take ownership of estimating development effort for these projects. You are a Technical Consultant with 10 years of experience in Oracle or Informatica, and knowledge of Fund Accounting, Fund Reporting, and Derivative would be beneficial for this role. Your responsibilities include developing architecture design principles, reviewing and shaping technical solutions, defining governing principles for platform solutions, and being the sign-off authority on technical solutions and artifacts. You will also need to make practical trade-offs in design, engage with 3rd party vendors, drive process improvements like Continuous Integration Tools, and provide input on security design requirements and performance tuning.
