Job Title: Linux Faculty

Location: Technovalley, Kochi, Kerala
Employment Type: Full-time

We are expanding our training team and seeking passionate Linux Faculty to help nurture the next generation of global IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver LPIC-1 / LPIC-2 / LPIC-3 or equivalent Linux training programs to students and professionals.
  • Conduct online and offline training sessions following LPI’s global curriculum.
  • Prepare students for LPI certification exams with comprehensive guidance, mock tests, and labs.
  • Customize lesson plans and practical sessions to meet the varying skill levels of learners.
  • Maintain high standards of course delivery, with emphasis on hands-on practice.
  • Provide mentorship, career advice, and technical support to students.
  • Collaborate with Technovalley’s Academic Excellence team for continuous improvement of the training methodology.
  • Maintain records of student progress and assessments.
  • Stay updated on the latest Linux trends, technologies, and certification changes.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS, Debian, etc.).

Certification Requirement:

  • Preferred:
  • Active LPIC-1 / LPIC-2 / LPIC-3 certification.
  • Alternate:
  • Candidates with Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification are also eligible.
  • RHCE-certified candidates must:
  • Align with the LPI curriculum.
  • Commit to a minimum service period of 12 months with Technovalley.
  • Technovalley will sponsor and provide free LPI certification upon successful completion of the 12-month commitment.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong hands-on skills with Linux server administration, networking, shell scripting, and security.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Passionate about teaching and mentoring.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
