Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data models in SAP BW on HANA (SAP NetWeaver 7.5), including InfoProviders, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, and BEx queries.
• Extract and transform data from SAP ECC/S4 and other systems into SAP BW using standard or custom extractors.
• Collaborate with data platform and BI teams to align SAP data structures with enterprise reporting needs.
• Participate in projects integrating SAP BW data into Azure-based platforms (Synapse, Databricks, etc.).
• Support migration and replication of SAP BW data into cloud environments.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and alignment with business definitions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions through analytical thinking.
• Utilize ABAP programming skills (Classic, OOP, AMDP, and structured programming).
• Maintain a deep understanding of SAP ECC/S4HANA data structures and extractor logic.
• Optimize and tune SAP BW objects for performance.
• Build and maintain BEx queries for reporting.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Follow agile methodologies (SCRUM) for project execution.
• Contribute effectively as a collaborative team member with strong communication and documentation skills.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW on HANA (InfoProviders, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, BEx)
• Expertise in Data Extraction from SAP ECC/S4 and external systems
• Solid background in Data Modelling and data architecture
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including OOP and AMDP
• Good understanding of SAP data sources, extractor logic, and end-to-end ETL processes
• Experience in performance optimization & query tuning
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse / ADF / Databricks or willingness to learn cloud platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work in agile / SCRUM-based environments
