POSITION PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Head of Digital Farming Asia, the Technical Community Captain is responsible to attract and develop industry leading talents in the Business Design, UX, Data Science, Rapid Prototyping, and Modeling and deploy talents to Crop Science business priorities delivering the most value to farmers across Asia.As the Digital Experience & Technical Manager, you lead a crossdisciplinary team (Business Design, UX, Rapid Prototyping, Data Science & Data Analytics) that fuels innovation, experimentation, and digital capability across Asia. You champion customer-centric design, agile ways of working, dynamic talent development, and strategic resourcing. You
play a pivotal role in shaping both how we build and how we invest -ensuring the right digital capabilities drive the most impactful outcomes.

Leading Customer Centricity and Agile Experimentation:
Strengthening deep customer understanding and insights by putting customer needs at the forefront of our innovation initiatives.
Driving culture and mindset change for experimentation and confidence in iterative development, based on real feedback
Developing resources and methods for practice of human-centered-design and rapid prototyping
Ensuring our ideation pipeline is evergreen and the community is able to maintain or exceed our portfolio metrics
Talent Acquisition & Development:
Enable the team to bring the best solutions for our ventures/projects in Asia
Identifying and recruiting top talents in Business Design, UX, Rapid Prototyping, Data Science and Data Analytics
Nurturing teams and talent to evolve continuously
Working closely with senior leadership to forecast skill needs based on upcoming projects and innovations in CX DNV and other business priorities in Asia
Champion the technical communitys needs, growth, and recognition within the organization
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Eliminate silos and foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration
Facilitating collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders to rapidly prototype and test new digital solutions.
Influence the broader organisation on the value of digital capabilities the community brings Milestone Funding & Strategic Resource Allocation
Serve as a core member of the milestone funding decision group.
Shape how budget, talent, and resources flow across initiatives based on impact and evolving priorities.
Drive discussions on trade-offs, performance, and strategic relevance.
Scale up, pivot, or sunset projects using desirability, feasibility, and viability lenses.

WHO YOU ARE:
Experience
8+ years of experience in digital product development, innovation, or technology leadership roles
Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams across design,technology, and data functions
Demonstrated success in driving customer-centric innovation and digital transformation initiatives
Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and influencing senior leadership
Background in agile methodologies and rapid experimentation frameworks
Technical & Domain Expertise
Deep understanding of Business Design, UX/UI principles, and humancentered design methodologies
Strong knowledge of rapid prototyping techniques and tools
Familiarity with Data Science and Data Analytics practices and their business applications
Understanding of emerging AI / digital technologies and their potential business impact
Leadership & Soft Skills
Exceptional people leadership skills with ability to inspire, develop, and retain top talent
Strategic thinking with strong business acumen and financial literacy
Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
