Position description:

Ensure smooth and continuous operation of the Crystal Plant by monitoring process parameters, coordinating resources, and resolving operational issues promptly.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operational:

• To operate the plant at optimum conditions and achieve production targets with reduction in raw material consumption and utility consumption as per SOP.
• To ensure timely sampling of RM/FG and record shift wise stock of RM/FG.
• Able to handle and operate different types of reactors, recovery columns, distillation columns, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and utility equipment.
• Record daily batch production in BMR, raw material (RM), and utility data in SAP, and ensure daily availability of raw material stock to support uninterrupted operations.
• Check the critical parameters of the process on continuous basis and record the parameters in logbook.
• Handling and deputation of process manpower for timely completion of jobs.
• Ensure timely completion of breakdown maintenance and support plant startup and stabilization to achieve uninterrupted and efficient operations.
• Perform day-to-day troubleshooting of plant operations.Conversant with process trouble shooting, process optimization and root cause analysis etc.
• Knowledge of Management of change, PTW, PSM etc.
• Timely isolation and equipments cleaning for carry out breakdown/ Preventive maintenance.
• To participate in Root Cause Analysis of Various safety and process safety incidents, Monitor and ensure implementation of CAPA (Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions)
• Consistently delivered assignments within deadlines, integrating feedback to enhance quality and effectiveness
• Report near misses, incidents, and process safety events (PSE) in a timely manner.

• Educational qualifications

  Diploma in Chemical Engineering

• preferred Degree: Diploma in Chemical Engineering

• Experience:

  2-3 years in Production
