Job Description

Must have:

Deep understanding of distributed systems and analytical workloads, especially real-time analytics
Thorough knowledge of Singlestore DB architecture
Deep understanding of shard keys & their implications along with hands-on experience in utilizing shard keys
Deep understanding of how replication works in a Singlestore cluster
Understanding of types of aggregator nodes and their responsibilities
Understanding of types of tables and their uses along with demonstratable hands-on knowledge for each table type
Hands-on experience in using Singlestore tools especially memsql-toolbox, memsql-client, memsql-studio & workload manager
Understanding of semantic layer components along with hands-on experience in building the layer

Good to have:

Understanding of Snowflake architecture, its various components like tables, sematic views, indexes etc.
Hands-on experience in handling bulk as well as streaming data loads
Query performance analysis & tuning
Understanding of ETL pipelines. Knowledge of Snowpark is an added advantage.
