Technical Architect

As the Technical Architect, your primary responsibility will be to define and drive the technical architecture and design of enterprise software systems and applications. You will provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that concepts are transformed into scalable technical solutions. Collaborating with stakeholders from various teams, you will evaluate tools and technologies to recommend the best tech stack for project and business requirements. Leading the development of prototypes and proof of concepts, you will guide development teams on architecture and engineering excellence. Your role will also involve conducting design and code reviews, identifying architectural risks, technical debt, and bottlenecks, and maintaining documentation for architecture decisions and standards. Additionally, you will stay updated on emerging technologies, evaluate industry trends, and assess their potential for implementation. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a technical or solution architecture role. Hands-on experience in designing scalable applications using modern technology stacks is essential, including expertise in microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and frontend technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js, will be advantageous. Moreover, you should be well-versed in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, version control using Git, and automated testing frameworks. A deep understanding of RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) is required. Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership abilities are essential for effectively articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include certification in TOGAF or similar architecture, experience with enterprise integration patterns, ESB tools, or event-driven architecture, exposure to AI/ML integration, big data platforms, or real-time streaming technologies like Kafka and Spark, and familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS product architecture.
