Job Description

Role Overview: As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, your primary focus will be to deliver post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base. You will serve as a dedicated advocate for customer needs, resolving post-sales non-technical inquiries via phone and electronic communication channels. Additionally, you will address technical questions related to the use of and troubleshooting for Oracle's Electronic Support Services. Your role will involve being a key point of contact for customers, facilitating customer relationships with Support, and providing guidance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues. Key Responsibilities: - Provide post-sales hardware support remotely for Oracle X86 hardware platforms - Demonstrate a good understanding of X86 system architectures and RAID technology - Utilize service processor knowledge and log collection for platform hardware troubleshooting - Conduct hands-on and remote troubleshooting on Oracle X86 servers (Exdata, ODA, X8, X7, etc.) or similar platforms - Possess system-level troubleshooting and system administration skills under Linux, Windows, or Solaris Operating Systems - Have knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure and support (added advantage) - Escalate calls to the appropriate level in a timely manner - Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Engage in effective customer interaction and organizational skills to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction - Exhibit excellent verbal and written English language communication skills - Collaborate as a good team player in a global environment with a self-motivating personality - Apply effective time management skills and work prioritization capabilities - Hands-on troubleshooting experience with GPU systems would be an added advantage - Possess any professional certifications like MCSE, RHCE, Cloud, etc. - Work in a designated Oracle office during assigned shifts - Be prepared to work in a 24*7 support environment and in shifts Qualifications: - Career Level: IC3 Additional Company Details: Oracle is a world leader in cloud solutions, utilizing cutting-edge technology to address current challenges.
