Techinician

Job Role Summary:
A Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment or machinery at customer sites or in the workshop. The role demands strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Commissioning:
• Install and commission machines, equipment, or systems at client locations.
• Perform regular preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults.
• Replace faulty parts and carry out necessary adjustments.
• Install air compressors, dryers, filters, and piping systems at client sites.
• Ensure correct alignment, electrical connection, and testing during installation.
• Commission the unit and hand it over to the client with a functional demo.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (oil change, filter replacement, cleaning).
• Inspect compressor components like motor, belts, hoses, valves, etc.
• Maintain service logs and checklist during maintenance visits.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
• Knowledge of reciprocating and screw-type air compressors.
• Understanding of electrical controls, motors, pressure settings.
