Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Pune. This role requires a blend of engineering knowledge and sales aptitude to identify client needs, propose suitable solutions, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-impact automation and testing solutions.
- Identify customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions
- Prepare and present solution proposals, technical documents, and commercial offers
- Conduct product and solution demonstrations to prospective clients
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact during pre- and post-sales phases
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to align proposals with delivery capabilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade exhibitions, and technical discussions
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields
- 1–5 years of experience in technical sales or business development in industrial automation, testing, or machinery
- Good understanding of production systems, custom machinery, or control systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
- Self-driven and goal-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements
- Willingness to travel as needed for client interactions and site visits
