THE ROLE:

We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Tech Lead for Workday Engineering to drive the design, development, and delivery of robust, scalable, and extensible Workday solutions across Trintechs enterprise systems. This leadership role combines strong technical execution in full-stack development (.NET, Angular) with expert-level understanding of Workday integration frameworks and architecture.

As a technical leader, you will partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to set technical direction, ensure engineering best practices, mentor a growing team of engineers, and oversee the delivery of critical Workday Extend applications and integrations.

WHAT YOULL DO:

Lead the design, development, and end-to-end delivery of full-stack enterprise solutions built on .NET (C#, ASP.NET) and Angular or equivalent front-end frameworks.
Serve as the technical owner of Trintechs Workday integration strategy, including Extend apps, Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Web Services.
Architect and implement secure, cloud-native integration patterns that connect Workday with internal systems and third-party platforms via REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, middleware, and event-driven pipelines.
Drive code and architecture reviews, provide hands-on guidance to engineers, and champion technical excellence and automation.
Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, working closely with HR, Finance, and Platform Engineering stakeholders.
Set coding and documentation standards, enforce CI/CD best practices, and ensure production readiness across deliverables.
Proactively identify architectural improvements, drive modernization initiatives, and stay abreast of evolving Workday extensibility tools.
Lead agile ceremonies, support project planning and execution, and monitor progress against delivery goals and timelines.
Foster an inclusive and growth-oriented team environment through mentoring and continuous feedback.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
68 years of hands-on full-stack development experience, with a strong track record of technical leadership in enterprise-grade .NET (C#, ASP.NET) and Angular or equivalent frameworks.
Deep expertise in Workday integration technologies: EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Workday Extend, and Workday APIs (REST/SOAP).
Experience with orchestration and configuration tools such as Kubernetes, Spring Cloud Config, and event/message brokers like RabbitMQ.
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, data modeling, and optionally NoSQL/cloud data platforms.
Proven experience leading engineering efforts, mentoring developers, and owning technical delivery in agile environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
