Role Overview: You will be working for a Global Hedge Fund Administrator, specializing in administering assets of complex hedge funds. Your strong Technical and Accounting background, along with experience in the Financial Services industry, will be essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly NAVs for different hedge fund clients. Key Responsibilities: - Review monthly fund and business entity closing summaries for Fund Administrator - Report and analyze financial data to be disseminated to Fund Administrators clients and their investors - Generate estimated performance returns - Close monthly books and records of the funds to generate final performance figures - Prepare Operating expense entries, Balance Sheet, and Income statement - Calculate Incentive Fee and Management Fee - Prepare financial statements for funds - Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Administrator teams to obtain an understanding of funds activities - Consistently look to streamline and automate the reporting/analytical process with the use of technology - Escalate issues that fall outside normal resolution timeframe Qualifications: - 4-6 Years of work experience in a Financial Institution - Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management, and/or Financial Services strongly preferred - Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Master's degree a plus Additional Details: You will be required to comply with the regulatory regime in which Northern Trust operates. Proper standards of market, business, and personal conduct are to be observed, demonstrating integrity in the execution of duties. You will report to TL.
