Job Description: You will be working for a Global Hedge Fund Administrator, specializing in administering assets of complex hedge funds. Your role will involve the preparation of monthly NAVs for different hedge fund clients. Key Responsibilities: - Review monthly fund and business entity closing summaries for Fund Administrator - Report and analyze financial data for dissemination to Fund Administrators clients and their investors - Generate estimated performance returns - Close monthly books and records of the funds to generate final performance figures - Prepare Operating expense entries, Balance Sheet, and Income statement - Calculate Incentive Fee and Management Fee - Prepare financial statements for funds - Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Administrator teams to understand funds activities - Streamline and automate reporting/analytical processes with technology - Escalate issues outside normal resolution timeframe Qualifications: - Minimum of 4-6 years of work experience in a Financial Institution - Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management, and/or Financial Services preferred - Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting, Master's degree a plus Additional Company Details: Northern Trust, a Fortune 500 company, has been in operation since 1889.
