Role Overview: You will be working for a Global Hedge Fund Administrator, specializing in administering assets of complex hedge funds. Your strong Technical and Accounting background, along with experience in the Financial Services industry, will be crucial in preparing monthly NAVs for different hedge fund clients. Key Responsibilities: - Review monthly fund and business entity closing summaries for Fund Administrator - Report and analyze financial data for dissemination to Fund Administrators clients and investors - Generate estimated performance returns and close monthly books and records of funds for final performance figures - Prepare Operating expense entries, Balance Sheet, and Income statement - Calculate Incentive Fee and Management Fee - Prepare financial statements for funds - Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Administrator teams to understand funds activities - Streamline and automate reporting/analytical processes with technology - Escalate issues outside normal resolution timeframe Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 4-6 years of work experience in a Financial Institution - Experience with Hedge Funds, Investment Management, and/or Financial Services strongly preferred - Bachelors degree with emphasis in Accounting, Master degree a plus Additional Details: Northern Trust, a Fortune 500 company, has been operating since 1889, providing innovative financial services and guidance to successful individuals, families, and institutions worldwide.
