Job Description

Trouble shooting and calibration of instruments and PLCs that includes mass flow meters, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, turbidity, pH, conductivity, humidity, pressure etc and Project management.

Key responsibilities:

To maintain automation and control equipment/software in optimal running condition by performing troubleshooting and repairs, and providing project support.

To conduct process control engineering and troubleshooting with unit operations such as media, harvest, bioreactors, chromatography, mixed bed, SSMB (Simulated Sequential Moving Bed), Polish Bed systems, multiple effect evaporation and Spray Dryer.

To work on cleaning systems: CIPs, COPs as per the defined process.

To work with the QMS team on areas such as change control, nonconformance, corrective and preventative actions, and validation practices.

To conduct calibrations as required for equipments as per the defined processes.

To be part of the project management team from design, instrument equipment selection and commissioning.

Critical Success Factors

:

Knowledge of ASTM 2500, S88 and S95 techniques - Batch processing experience

A working knowledge of Ethernet networking and ability to troubleshoot .

Essential Attributes:

Ability to use and understand PID Loop tuning software to optimize performance.

Knowledge of ASTM 2500, S88 and S95 techniques. - Batch processing experience

Working knowledge of Ethernet networking, ability to troubleshoot., PLCs and SCADA

Compliance knowledge on USFDA, 21 CFR or GAMP

Desired Attributes:

SAP working knowledge

Working knowledge in Siemens Platform PCS 7
