Job Description

  • Candidate should have proficient knowledge of Medical/Technical and Underwriting. He/she should have good decision making ability referring standard guidelines and principles.
  • Knowledge on Health, PA & Travel Insurance
  • Underwriting of day to day health, PA & Travel proposals with adherence to TAT
  • Handling direct Tele underwriting proposals and their escalations
  • Processing of Non-Disclosure/ Frauds
  • Handling sales, channel partner queries on Underwriting/Product
  • Maintaining GMC & GPA quote registers
  • Co-ordinating with Operations for closure of proposals
  • Preparation and maintenance of MIS of proposals referred to UW team.
  • Regular monitoring and claim analysis of health, PA & Travel LOB
  • Support Marketing team and liaison with channel partners for any difficulties in the product/process etc.
  • Impart training to sales teams and channel partners.
