Job Description

Job Description: As a Team Member in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion department, your primary role is to develop and implement strategies and programs that promote diversity and inclusivity within the organization. By collaborating with various stakeholders in the Human Resources Team, such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Engagement, you will work towards establishing RIL as a diverse and inclusive workplace. Your responsibilities will include drafting the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion charter, identifying new initiatives, overseeing budget allocations, and ensuring legal compliance with diversity-related laws. You will be responsible for implementing cost-efficient and employee-friendly Diversity, Equity & Inclusion plans, reviewing organizational policies to ensure diversity friendliness, and championing the growth of talent from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Head to recruit a diverse workforce and develop key metrics to measure the effectiveness of diversity programs. Ensuring legal compliance with laws related to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and resolving employee harassment cases will also be part of your role. In terms of policies, processes, and procedures, you will create and monitor adherence to diversity, equity & inclusion programs while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Communication and employee sensitization will be key aspects of your role, where you will partner with the communications team to drive inclusive messaging and implement initiatives to manage micro inequities and unconscious bias. People management is also a crucial part of your responsibilities, where you will develop a high-performing team, set performance objectives, and evaluate training requirements. Your success in this role will be measured by various metrics such as Workforce Diversity, ERG Engagement levels, the number of training programs on DEI, and adherence to guidelines and regulatory compliance. Your operating network will include internal stakeholders like the Leadership Team, Human Resources Team, Communications Team, and Legal Team, as well as external entities such as Vendors, Consultants, and Industry Networks. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Masters in Business Administration or a Post Graduation Degree in Human Resources/Social Work or a relevant field, along with 6 to 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in designing and driving organization-wide diversity & inclusion programs. Functional competencies required for this role include DEI Domain Knowledge, Change Management, Market Intelligence, Employee Experience/Engagement, Legal & Regulatory Compliance, and Data Analysis & Reporting.,
