Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day Asset Management Operations, ensuring delivery to all KPIs and contractual obligations
  • Establish best-in-class processes & practices and champion their deployment and use across the global organisation
  • Responsible for People Management Objective Setting, Performance Management, talent development, retention, succession planning, employee satisfaction, mentoring, leave management, time reporting, etc
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction, cost optimization & profitability of the function
  • Generate customer & internal management reports on a scheduled basis
  • First point of contact for service delivery managers and escalation point for any concerns or complaints from clients or senior management
  • Guide the team in scheduling work efficiently and resolving any priority conflicts
  • Carry out interviews, make recruitment decisions, and complete all paperwork for the joiners and leavers processes
  • Track workload and overtime to ensure tasks are evenly distributed across the team; review and approve overtime in line with company policy
  • Stand-in and signatory for the next level of management as required
  • Assist in the Bid process to provide the right level of inputs
  • Provide audit support, including preparation for upcoming audits, hostingauditors, and following up on observations and non-conformities for bothinternal and external audits
  • Work closely with leaders for other process areas and global counterpartsto ensure full process alignment and understanding

Skillset


  • Excellent customer service skills and an ability to listen and understandthe customers requirements, including stakeholder management
  • Ability to adhere to governance standards and processes; good awarenessof ISO and BSI
  • Experience and a strong understanding of several ITIL process areas
  • Experience with asset management toolset integration (eg SNOW, SCCM,Service Now)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Established governance standards and processes
  • IT knowledge (broad rather than deep) of IT systems and technology
  • Adept at using Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge in any ITIL servicesmanagement skills Incident, Problem, and Configuration managementprocess
  • Experience in managing team productivity & utilisation
  • Good knowledge of creating Service Descriptions
  • Understanding of the Bid management process and providing inputsAbility to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Willingness to travel and a flexible approach to working hours
