Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Network & Security Management

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot

    FortiGate firewalls

    , including policies, VPNs, IPS, and security profiles.
  • Manage and monitor

    Cisco Meraki

    network devices, including switches, APs, and security appliances.
  • Ensure network performance, uptime, and security through proactive monitoring and optimization.
  • Conduct periodic security assessments, patching, and compliance checks.

2. System Administration

  • Manage, configure, and provide support for

    Ubuntu OS

    devices, user systems, and applications.
  • Support and administer

    Mac OS

    devices, including device management, OS updates, and security hardening.
  • Implement and maintain backups, storage solutions, and system performance monitoring.

3. Google Workspace Administration

  • Administer and manage the

    Google Workspace

    environment, including user management, group policies, data security, and integrations.
  • Ensure data governance, email security, and access controls as per company policies.

4. IT Operations & Support

  • Provide L2/L3 technical support for escalated issues across the network, systems, and applications.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure, respond to incidents, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage IT asset inventory, procurement, maintenance, and lifecycle.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide secure and efficient IT solutions.

5. Projects & Process Improvement

  • Assist in planning and implementing IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts.
  • Document processes, create SOPs, and ensure adherence to IT policies and best practices.
  • Evaluate new technologies and optimize existing systems for performance and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with

    FortiGate Firewalls

    (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in

    Ubuntu/Linux administration

    .
  • Good understanding of

    Mac OS management and troubleshooting

    .
  • Experience with

    Cisco Meraki

    switches, access points, and security appliances.
  • Strong knowledge of

    Google Workspace administration

    and security configurations.
  • Understanding of DHCP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (preferred).

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and support multiple priorities.
  • Customer-oriented approach and strong stakeholder management.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 57 years of IT infrastructure and support experience.
  • Relevant certifications (Fortinet NSE, Cisco Meraki, Linux, Google Workspace Admin) are a strong advantage.
