Team Lead/Senior Consultant- SAP ABAP US Projects

As a Consultant, you will be actively involved in implementation, upgrade, and support projects, delivering them remotely or onsite. Your primary focus will be on ABAP development objects while collaborating with a remote development team. You will also liaise with the Project Manager to ensure effective tracking and implementation of projects. **Responsibilities:** - Understand the organization's values and vision, aligning your activities accordingly - Protect the Intellectual Property and adhere to all policies and procedures - Collaborate with other line functions to collect or provide relevant data - Coordinate and interact with multiple teams effectively - Support business implementations by sharing best practice development skills - Set up development guidelines and methodologies - Support the onsite consulting team and coordinate with remote development teams - Perform technical activities beyond coding - Build trust and act as a trusted advisor to customers - Manage customer expectations to avoid escalations - Participate in practice initiatives, showing innovation and enhancing reusability - Prepare Technical Specifications, build and review code, prepare Unit Test Cases, and conduct technical research for optimal solutions - Assist with queries related to various ABAP components like Reports, interfaces, enhancements, ALE/IDoc, Conversions, forms, Adobe forms, ABAP workflow, Web DynPro, etc. - Work with the Functional team to assess operational and quality-related issues, identify gaps, and manage their closure - Propose ABAP redesigns for performance improvement - Ensure appropriate assessment of SAP OSS notes - Collaborate closely with SAP Functional Specialists to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality **Essential Skills:** - Excellent communication skills - Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines - Dynamic, flexible, and perseverant - Excellent coding skills - Knowledge of SAP Technologies like Webdynpro and Adobe forms - Experience in RAP (RESTful Application Programming model) - Proficiency in customer relationship management - Proficiency in ABAP ticket analysis - Understanding of business objectives and organization structure - Strong work ethics, trustworthiness, and self-confidence - Attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity - Collaborative, team-oriented, and committed to excellence **Preferred Skills:** - Strong problem-solving skills - Self-motivated and fast learner, able to work independently - Thrive in cross-functional teams on critical projects - SAP Certification is preferable - Expert knowledge in ABAP technologies such as Interactive Reporting, Dialog Programming, BAPI, RFC, SAP Scripts, Smartforms, ALE/IDocs, Interface Programming, BDC, Workflow, and Data Conversions - Proactive thinking - Negotiation and persuasion skills - Ability to work under stringent deadlines and demanding client conditions - Strong interpersonal relations and business acumen,
