A consultant participates in implementation/upgrade/support projects and delivers them either remotely or onsite, focusing on ABAP development objects and coordinating with remote development teams. The consultant liaises with the Project Manager for project tracking and implementation. Responsibilities include understanding organizational values, protecting intellectual property, adhering to policies and procedures, working with other functions to collect or provide data, coordinating with multiple teams, supporting business implementations, setting up development guidelines, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers. The consultant is expected to manage customer expectations, participate in practice initiatives, prepare technical specifications, build and review code, create unit test cases, assist with various ABAP queries, work with functional teams to assess operational issues, propose ABAP redesign for performance improvement, assess SAP OSS notes, and collaborate with SAP Functional Specialists. Essential skills for the role include excellent communication, organization, focus on deadlines, dynamic and flexible nature, coding skills, knowledge of SAP technologies like Webdynpro and Adobe forms, experience with RAP, proficiency in customer relationship management, and ABAP ticket analysis. Additionally, candidates should have an understanding of business objectives, strong work ethics, trustworthiness, self-confidence, attention to detail, collaboration skills, and ability to work under pressure. Preferred skills include problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, independence in operations, cross-functional teamwork, SAP certification, expertise in ABAP technologies, proactive thinking, negotiation skills, working under deadlines, strong interpersonal relations, and business acumen.,
