Team Leader- Plating (Finishing)

Position- Team Leader- Plating/PVD/Finishing

Job Profile:

• Oversee daily operations of plating and PVD Processes, including coordinate day to day operational requirements, including related paper work, support duties and supervising plating labours with ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently
• Assign tasks and manage workflow to ensure timely and efficient completion of work
• Monitor process parameters and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality in inhouse testing lab
• Lead and manage a team of operators and workers and aligned with interdepartmental CFT team for the execution of manufacturing plan
• Perform inspections and troubleshoot issues to maintain high quality outputs by Problem analysis (RCA)
• Implement and adhere to quality control procedures and standards
• Track and manage day-to-day operations in SAP system to ensure efficient workflow
• Oversee proper maintenance of chemical baths (Copper, Nickel, Satin Nickel, Brass, Black Nickel and Lacquer baths) and operation of equipment
• Train and supervise all plating employees in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including performance and safety
• Maintain accurate records of production data, process changes, and maintenance activities

Candidate Profile:

• Education- DCE, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related field
• Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years of experience in PVD and plating Processes, with some experience in leadership or supervisory role
• Skill Requirement: In depth knowledge of plating process i.e., Nickel plating, Brass Plating Satin Nickel, Black Nickel, EQ Lacquering, and PVD (GL, GB, RG) technologies, including process parameters, equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with pre-treatment process of MS, MAZAK, SS & Brass etc. base material quality control standards and techniques.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and practices
