As a Team Leader in Alternative Fund Services - Hedge Fund Services Fund Accounting at JPMorgan, you will have the opportunity to build your career in Hedge Fund & Private Equity operations while being part of the world's most innovative bank. JPMorgan Alternative Fund Services offers comprehensive solutions for hedge fund, private equity, and fund of hedge fund clients who are looking for independent administration and custody services or wish to outsource their day-to-day operations. The Hedge Fund Accounting team plays a crucial role in delivering premium quality client service to Alternative Fund Services Clients, ensuring that all deadlines are met without compromise. You will be responsible for various key tasks including but not limited to the preparation, review, and oversight of Net Asset Value Files, ensuring accurate and timely Net Asset Values. Your role will involve providing top-notch client service to a defined group of clients by establishing strong relationships with investment managers and other third parties. Identifying efficiencies and areas for improvement to reduce risk and enhance efficiency is also a critical aspect of your responsibilities. Having a profound understanding of the theoretical and technical aspects of hedge fund accounting and administration is essential for this role. Collaborating with investment operations, reconciliations, shareholder services, financial reporting, and other internal partner teams to meet internal deadlines and ensure external client deadlines are met will be part of your daily routine. Additionally, you will work closely with clients to address queries and support the on-boarding process with the new business team and clients. Your duties will also include ensuring that all scheduled work is completed within agreed deadlines, signing off on checklists, generating ad hoc reports for clients, and conducting quality assurance checks on information received internally from other supporting functions.
