Job Description

Are you a skilled cybersecurity professional with leadership experience in penetration testing? Join HackIT – a CERT-IN empaneled cybersecurity firm – as a Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Team Lead.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Lead and manage a team of junior penetration testers
  • Conduct Web, Mobile, API, and Network Security Testing (Manual + Automated)
  • Perform SAST, DAST, and develop Proof-of-Concepts
  • Guide clients with remediation plans and ensure project delivery within deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior management
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports


What We’re Looking For:


  • 3–5 years of experience in Application/Infrastructure/Network Pen Testing
  • Prior experience as a Team Lead or Project Lead in a security testing role
  • Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK
  • Familiar with enterprise & open-source pen test tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and reporting skills

Preferred Certifications:

  • OSCP, CREST, GPEN, GXPN, Cloud Certifications, or equivalent
