Your role will involve overseeing the health and scalability of SAP BW environment and Azure-based data lake, ensuring seamless support for reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Leadership & Team Management** - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 30+ IT professionals, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous learning. - Set strategic direction for maintenance operations, workload distribution, and career development paths. - **Platform Operations & Maintenance** - Oversee the health and optimization of SAP BW systems and Azure-based data lake infrastructure. - Ensure monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution across data platforms. - **Data Ecosystem Support** - Coordinate data pipeline integrity between platforms for reliable data delivery to reporting environments. - **Governance, Security & Compliance** - Enforce data platform governance policies and compliance with security standards. - Maintain system documentation and disaster recovery procedures. - **Stakeholder Engagement** - Act as a key point of contact between IT and business units, ensuring alignment on data priorities. - Collaborate with data teams on platform improvements and scaling initiatives. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field. - 8-10 years of experience in IT operations, with 5+ years in a leadership role. - Strong technical knowledge of SAP BW and Azure Data Lake. - Experience with Tableau, Power BI, and IT service management frameworks. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Certifications in Azure, SAP, or ITIL. - Experience in Agile or DevOps environments. - Excellent communication and project management skills.
