Description
As a Team Lead ESG Data Service at HSBC Global Asset Management, RBWM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality investor data requirements are met. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a highly motivated and proactive approach to data management, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. - Utilizing your experience in the asset management industry and data management to provide solutions to unanticipated problems. - Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of investor management datasets, including transactions, holdings, fund, and client datasets. - Understanding the trade life cycle, client and fund onboarding, reference data management, and reconciliations. - Building lasting and trusted relationships with upstream and downstream partners. - Adhering to global policies and standards in all projects and processes. - Managing multiple work-streams simultaneously, prioritizing workload effectively, and seeking guidance when needed. - Achieving results through influence, persuasion, and direct authority. - Demonstrating adherence to internal controls and compliance policies. - Collaborating with internal and external audit teams to implement and maintain frameworks. Qualifications required for this role include: - At least 12+ years of experience in asset management roles, with 8-9+ years in investment operations and product/fund launch. - Familiarity with technical skillsets related to data management, such as SQL, Python, and Tableau. - Knowledge of data platforms like Bloomberg, Reuters, IDC, and data governance. - Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management. - Engaging with stakeholders on SIT and UAT. Additionally, any additional skills such as familiarity with data governance, technical skills in SQL, Python, Tableau, data platforms like Bloomberg, Reuters, IDC, and effective stakeholder management will be advantageous for this role.
