Team Lead

Role Overview: As a Team Lead in the PTL operations within the warehouse, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and coordinate the daily activities to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with company policies. You will lead a team of associates, provide training, support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the PTL Operations: - Oversee the daily operations of the PTL system for accuracy and efficiency. - Monitor workflow, productivity, and make adjustments to meet targets. - Ensure accurate and timely order picking. - Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of PTL associates. - Conduct regular team meetings, communicate goals, updates, and provide feedback. - Manage scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations. - Training and Development: - Provide training on PTL processes and safety protocols to new and existing employees. - Identify skill gaps and coordinate additional training as required. - Quality and Safety Compliance: - Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in PTL operations. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. - Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions. - Continuous Improvement: - Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions for enhanced efficiency. - Collaborate with the operations manager on improvement plans. - Utilize data and metrics to enhance performance and productivity. - Reporting and Documentation: - Prepare and maintain accurate records of daily activities, performance metrics, and incidents. - Provide regular reports on key performance indicators to the operations manager. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred. - 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role. - Strong understanding of PTL operations and warehouse operations. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and strong problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
