Description
As an Ad Ops Team Lead at AdPushup, you will serve as the strongest technical advocate within the organization. Your responsibilities will revolve around account optimization, technical troubleshooting, team management, and ensuring client success. One of your key tasks will be to establish a knowledge base and develop a system that caters to the needs of AdOps Team Members promptly and efficiently. Your day-to-day tasks will include mentoring team members to enhance their skills and maintain high performance levels. You will be overseeing the management of DFP, Header Bidding, and tag-based partners to maximize ad performance and increase yield. Regularly testing and reviewing ad performance to identify areas for improvement will be crucial. Additionally, you will be responsible for swift resolution of customer queries, developing a knowledge base with canned responses for common issues, and collaborating with internal teams to implement effective solutions. Furthermore, you will be tasked with training team members to leverage AdPushup effectively for optimizing ad layouts, demand, and yield. Monitoring team performance and customer success metrics, providing updates to leadership, and designing, monitoring, and reviewing OKRs to bridge any process gaps and achieve organizational objectives will also be part of your role. Leading the AdOps team in educating publishers about products and services, managing career growth mapping, maintaining high motivation levels, and addressing internal team issues will be essential. Regular one-on-one sessions with team members to ensure transparency and alignment of expectations are also expected. To excel in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of ad servers such as DFP/Google Ad Manager and their configuration. In-depth knowledge of ad networks like AdSense, AdX, and Header Bidding Partners, as well as programmatic advertising, is necessary. An intermediate understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for troubleshooting ad implementation, familiarity with Prebid.js setup and optimization, experience with A/B testing methodologies and data analysis, and proficiency in using Chrome Developer Tools for ad debugging are crucial skills. Moreover, excellent written and verbal communication skills to simplify complex technical issues for clients, a curious and data-driven approach focused on experimentation and optimization, and prior basic team management experience are prerequisites for this role.,
